Witches of the Wheels: the Girls Halloween Finale at Krulli.

So we came back, pulled like mad spirits to Krulli’s haunted plywood for the final Girls session of the season. The wind was ripping through, howling like some unhinged banshee straight out of an Edgar Allan Poe fever dream. The sky was dark and electric, clouds swirling like something out of a horror flick as we rolled up to Krulli’s gates—the “Heaven’s Door” for anyone willing to sacrifice themselves to the four-wheeled altar.

And what a crowd: witches with cracked broomsticks, gangsters from the shadowed alleys, a “vana-ema” who could haunt your dreams, princesses gliding around like they owned the afterlife, and even La Muerte herself, rolling in to claim her spot. Buckets of candy spilled over like we were all trick-or-treating for one last sugar high before winter’s cold grip.

Merje’s birthday only fueled the madness—a fittingly chaotic bash where everyone’s shouting, laughing, skating like there’s no tomorrow. By the end, with the air thick with grit and grins, we knew: this was no ordinary gathering. We left it all out there, shredding hard enough to wake the dead.
