Veeti Salmi— now 24 and ripping since he was a kid in Jyväskylä, Finland—has stacked 13 years of skate magic under his belt. Now tearing up Tampere, he’s as DIY as they come. His love affair with concrete began at Jyväskylä’s “Silta DIY” under the old train bridge, and he’s been hooked on sculpting skateable waves ever since—from Muurame’s beautiful DIY park to the legendary Havumäki Ranch upper pool, hidden deep in the woods. These days, you’ll find him shaping and destroying lines at Tampere’s Rata DIY.

Watching Veeti skate is pure adrenaline—fast, raw, and fearless, leaving burnt urethane on every DIY he touches. Last summer, he fell for Nightwood’s plywood, and trust us, the world’s about to hear a whole lot more about this Northern powerhouse. He’s also rolling with Windagram Skateboard Hardware and repping his beloved Havumäki Ranch.
