When we heard the sad news that Suvilahti DIY skatepark would be torn down after this summer, we decided to head to Suvilahti in Helsinki and soak up the atmosphere at the final Södervik Mästare contest. Koff Race 2026 was also taking place in Sinebrychoff Park that same weekend, so our hopes of capturing some tasty material were sky-high.
Our obsession with skate photography demanded that we pack five different cameras, ranging from a Leica SL2 to a Panasonic VX33. We originally picked our ten favourite shots for this post, but somehow ended up with 20 because we just couldn’t narrow it down to ten.
